Head, Mobile Financial Services (Product Management and Marketing) (Apr 2018 - Present)
Responsible for the product visioning and strategy, product management, product marketing, and growth of Interswitch's Mobile Financial Service products, which includes but not limited to Mobile Banking and USSD Payments. - Own the problem space. Knowing the who, what and why behind what we’re building and be able to communicate that to internal stakeholders
- Know the market. Conduct and present market research and competitor analysis to the rest of the product team and other stakeholders.
- Validate hypotheses. Meet with customers and internal stakeholders to better understand customer pain points and use cases, and to test whether solutions are on track.
- Advocate for customers. Write User Stories, Product Requirement Documents, and prioritize the backlog to focus on the most important problems first. Represent the customer during internal discussions with the team.
- Work with a diversified product design and engineering team in Nigeria, Germany, India, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia.
- Prepare a product for launch, Launch it, Oversee its Product Marketing, and Measure Progress. Review product analytics and usage to measure the impact of changes and to identify opportunities to improve.
Mobile Banking Products under my purview are GT Bank (Not GT World), First Mobile, FCMB MobilePlus, Stanbic IBTC, Diamond Mobile, Access Bank plc, HB Padie, Polaris Mobile Banking, Zenith Bank Mobile App, a couple of insurance companies, microfinance banks, and financial institutions in Ghana, Malawi, and other African Countries – 27 financial Institutions owning 37 apps.

Brand Manager – Quickteller, Quickteller Paypoint, and Interswitch Digital (Feb 2017 – Mar 2018)
- Deliver assigned channel growth and targeted initiatives (inclusive of Partner Marketing).
- Drive the digital marketing strategy, planning, and implementation with the sole objective of driving acquisition, transaction, and retention across all digital channels using the RACE (Reach, Act - InterACT, Convert, and Engage) model, for the three businesses (Quickteller, Quickteller Paypoint, and Interswitch Digital).
