1. Collaborate with the Business Unit's to plan and qualify a product per the customer requirement. Ensure that industry standards (JEDEC, AEC) are complied to meet the highest quality expectations of our customers.

2. Collaborate with the Business Unit, Manufacturing team and R&D to ensure that the qualification plan is cost effective and will enable the new product to be launched into the market per the marketing milestones; securing the business opportunity.

3. Lead and manage the Global Freescale Reliability Audit Plan (RAP) in KL, Malaysia. Ensure that the reliability of FSL products are monitored through the execution and sustainability of the RAP program.

4. Develop a Global RAP plan for the Digital Networking Business Unit that is both cost effective and meets our customers, the industry and Freescale's expectation of a effective product quality and reliability monitoring.

5. Identify failure modes of any NPI qualification on whether it is a genuine reliability failure, and proceed with initiating the 8D report writing. Lead or work with cross-departmental teams (FA, Assembly Engineering, Test Engineering, and Product Engineering) to identify the root cause and solve any failures seen in a Qualification.

6. Provide reliability assessment advice/assistance on failing Customer Return units. Lead or work with cross department teams in solving customer returns.
